Tea Boutique Cards – So Sweet!

I am loving this Tea Boutique Suite! The designer series papers (DSP) are so pretty, and it’s so easy to coordinate the stamps and dies with them. They use a lot of the new In Colors, and it’s always fun to craft with the new colors!

For this card, I started with an Orchid Oasis card base and added a layer of DSP with teapots. I stamped the cup using Orchid Oasis ink, as well as a set of flowers. Another set of flowers was stamped in Fresh Freesia. The cup and flowers are cut with the teacup dies.

The scalloped circle is die cut with Fresh Freesia cardstock. The stems and leaves are stamped with Granny Apple Green ink, and the sentiment is stamped in black. To add a bit of sparkle and bling, the mat for the sentiment is Orchid Oasis glimmer paper, and the dots are the matte In Color dots.

Here are the stamp set and teacup dies.
Here are the designer papers. Adorable!

A couple more card ideas!

Here is another card made with this suite. This cup is stamped in Crushed Curry, as are the flowers. The leaves and stems are stamped in Garden Green, which matches the scalloped mat layer. The yellow flowers match the tiny yellow flowers on the DSP. Finally, I love the brightness of the card base, which is done in Parakeet Party, one of the new In Colors.

This card is done in Garden Green and Fresh Freesia. The teacup is die cut from designer paper, but it has so much white on it, it kind of got lost on the white layer, so I put some Fresh Freesia dots around it, but…it was still lost. I finally decided to die cut the teacup top layer in Fresh Freesia cardstock. It’s not my favorite card, but I think it turned out okay. I LOVE the pearl dots! Love my bling!
