Celebrate Back To School With This Cute Card

As I was making this card, I was thinking that it would be great for a teacher or student, but then I thought, This would be GREAT for a parent. Yep, many a parent is excited about sending the kids back to school! 😂

First, I made the card base with Azure Afternoon cardstock. I then cut the Poppy Parade layer at 4-1/2 x 3-1/2. I adhered this on an angle to the card base. To make the clipboard, I used Crumb Cake but to 4-1/4 x 3-1/4, then used a corner-rounder.

The note paper is made with Basic White. For the one with lines, I used Azure Afternoon ink, stamping off one time to get lighter lines. TIP: Don’t ink the lines stamp too heavily; it looks much better with a light touch. I stamped the sentiment in black.

Next, I used the dies to cut the note paper, paper clip, heart, star, and arrows. I used silver foil specialty paper to die cut the clip. Adhere the note paper to the crumb cake layer and glue it on the card. Then adhere all the cute elements.

For the inside, I stamped the bottom using the irregular star stamp.
