Nothing’s Better Than…Cocktails!

This is one of my FAVORITE sets because it is fun AND so versatile! You can choose from cocktails, chocolate, coffee, and/or cookies and the sentiments are GREAT! I posted a cookies card and a coffee card using this set earlier this year.

This stamp set and matching dies are on page 20 of the 2022 Annual Catalog.

I love that there are stamps to fill in the colors of the cookies, cocktail glass, coffee cup, and chocolates, but for this card, I decided to color the cocktail glasses. I used Stampin’ Blends in Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, and Melon Mambo. These alcohol markers are great for blending because you get a light shade and a dark shade. I used a Copic marker in a really light blue-green (BG10) for the glass itself. The card base is Melon Mambo, and the background paper is an hombre Granny Apple Green designer series paper that is now retired. There is a stamp for the word Cocktails, but I decided to die cut the word out of Melon Mambo cardstock. Using Stampin’ Up’s adhesive sheets to cut out “cocktails” was great because it is so hard to put adhesive on words and not make a mess! The adhesive sheets turn your die cuts into stickers.

Here is another take on this card using coffee as the theme. The card base and designer paper are Really Rust, a retired color. The top die is also retired, but the bottom die is from the new Stylish Shapes Dies. I LOVE the stitched look.

Awash In Beauty Cards

I am having a lot of fun with this new suite of products, which includes the True Beauty stamp set, Organic Beauty dies, and Awash In Beauty designer paper.

For the card above, I used a Balmy Blue card base, then a layer of Merry Merlot and a layer of the designer paper. The rose was stamped in Merry Merlot and Granny Apple Green, the floral spray of flowers in Balmy Blue, and the sentiment in Merry Merlot. I added three In-Color Glossy Dots in Pale Papaya because no card is complete without a little bling! 🙂

The Awash In Beauty designer papers are SO PRETTY! They can be cards all by themselves! I simply cut the paper and glued it to card bases in Merry Merlot, Balmy Blue, So Saffron, and Polished Pink. I used a sentiment from Happiness Abounds and die cut it with one of the stitched rectangles dies. So simple!

This suite is on page 67 of the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. You can view the catalogs HERE.

Rainbow of Happiness Inspirational Card with Bold Colors!

This card is created with the Rainbow of Happiness bundle (stamp set and dies) available in the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog. The colors are Basic White, Pacific Point, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, and Poppy Parade.

First, die cut the white cardstock with the rainbow and edge dies. Then, use the rainbow die to cut the arcs. Adhere the white die-cut cardstock to the Pacific Point card base. The colorful arcs will then fit right in.

Stamp the sentiment on white, then die cut. Use the same die to cut the small arches from each of the colors of the rainbow. I wanted it to have some dimension, so I cut an extra shape that I used for the sentiment in Pacific Point. I glued the white piece and rainbow arches to it and mounted it to the card with Stampin Dimensionals. Finally, Daffodil Delight glossy dots finish it perfectly!

You can also make a rainbow shaker card!

Flowing Flowers Cards and Envelopes

This stamp set makes the most beautiful flowers, and it’s SO easy to use!! These specially designed stamps are called “distINKtive stamps.” They create images that have contour and shading, but you only have to stamp ONE time! It couldn’t be any easier.

I used Highland Heather for the card base. The flowers are inked with Highland Heather and Flirty Flamingo inks, and the leaves are done in Granny Apple Green. I used blending brushes to ink the stamp with the flowers and leaves. Just tap the blending brush on the ink pad and apply it where you want it on the stamp.

I die cut the pieces using the stitched rectangles dies and had to add a little bling, of course! The pastel pearls add just the right touch.

I did the same techniques to decorate the flap of the envelope.

The sentiments in this set cover a lot of occasions, making this a very versatile set.

This is a GREAT beginner’s set because it is quick and has a lot of variety in the sentiments. For the thank you card above, I stamped the flowers in Polished Pink, Mango Melody, and Granny Apple Green on the white card stock, then the sentiment in black. I cut it using the new deckled rectangles dies and glued it to a Granny Apple Green card base. I added two pink embellishments and that’s it! I then made a matching envelope. This is a FUN SET!!

This beautiful stamp set is only available until June 30, 2022. It is in the January-June Mini Catalog 2022. To view the catalog, go to www.stampinup.com, scroll to the bottom, and click “Digital Catalog.”
