Make a Beautiful Stars At Night Card

It is ALMOST September 6, which means you will be able to order the amazing and beautiful products from the September-December 2023 Mini Catalog from Stampin’ Up! One of the bundles is called Stars At Night. With it, you can make a variety of stars, including this layered beauty!

The card base is Night of Navy, with a layer of gold foil and a layer of Shining Brightly DSP. The star is five layers, using gold glimmer paper and Night of Navy ombre specialty paper that I had in my retired stash. (You don’t EVEN want to know how much DSP and specialty paper I have. Let’s just say I had to buy a couple racks to house them all…well…most of them!) The bundle has dies for all the star layers, as well as the sentiment. I used The gold & vanilla satin-edged ribbon from the current annual catalog, page 144.

If you need a copy of the catalog, please contact me!

Make An Adorable Book Shop Card!

When my husband and I visit a new place, we love to find the downtown areas with cute shops. That’s why I fell in love with the Les Shoppes Suite found on pages 30-31! You can use the DSP to make quick cards by “fussy cutting” the shops, or you can color your own, as I have done here.

Here is what you need to make this card:

  • Flirty Flamingo Cardstock – 7″ x 5-1/2″, score at 2-3/4″ and 3-5/8″ x 3-1/8″
  • Les Shoppes DSP – Small Stores – 5-1/4″ x 2-1/2″
  • Les Shoppes DSP – Yellow & White – 5-1/4″ x 1-1/2″
  • Basic White Cardstock – 5-1/4″ x 4″ and 3-1/2″ x 3″
  • Let’s Go Shopping Bundle (stamps and dies)
  • Memento Tuxedo Black stamp pad (for all elements that are colored with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers
  • Versafine Black stamp pad (not Stampin’ Up! but recommended for crisp stamped images)
  • Stampin’ Blends – Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green
  • Stampin’ Write Markers – Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Fresh Freesia
  • Loose Frosted Dots
  • Adhesive

Here’s another card you can make with this suite.

Spectacular Spooky Fun with “Them Bones” Suite

Are you ready to make some fun Halloween cards? You can order this incredible suite of products called Them Bones from September-December 2023 Mini Catalog which goes live on September 6. I created some simple cards made using panels in the Them Bones Designer Series Paper.

Yes, it glows in the dark! The moon is die cut from glow-in-the-dark cardstock, and the bat and ghost are glow-in-the-dark embellishments.

For this one, I stamped and die cut the skeleton in Pumpkin Pie, then die cut his hat, cane, and bow tie. The card base is Starry Sky, and the Pumpkin Pie layer is embossed with the retired folder called Maps, Etc. The sentiment is cut using the Countryside Corners Dies on page 156 of the 2023 Annual Catalog.

This card base is Cajun Craze, with a DSP panel on which I adhered a human and cat skeleton, both cut from a sheet of DSP. The mausoleum is die cut, and the bones are also die cut from the glow-in-the-dark cardstock. These cards are quick and easy using the elements of the suite!

You can do SO MUCH with this Bag 0f Bones Bundle! Your skeleton can be a cowboy or wear a beret and say “Bone-Jour.” Imagine the cute scenes you can make with this…the possibilities are endless!

This DSP features Starry Sky, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, and Cajun Craze. I also used Basic Gray and Smoky Slate to make my mausoleum.

Again, you can begin ordering these products on September 6, and you can see them in the September-December 2023 Mini Catalog. Need a catalog? Send me an email!
