This is one of my FAVORITE sets because it is fun AND so versatile! You can choose from cocktails, chocolate, coffee, and/or cookies and the sentiments are GREAT! I posted a cookies card and a coffee card using this set earlier this year.
I love that there are stamps to fill in the colors of the cookies, cocktail glass, coffee cup, and chocolates, but for this card, I decided to color the cocktail glasses. I used Stampin’ Blends in Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, and Melon Mambo. These alcohol markers are great for blending because you get a light shade and a dark shade. I used a Copic marker in a really light blue-green (BG10) for the glass itself. The card base is Melon Mambo, and the background paper is an hombre Granny Apple Green designer series paper that is now retired. There is a stamp for the word Cocktails, but I decided to die cut the word out of Melon Mambo cardstock. Using Stampin’ Up’s adhesive sheets to cut out “cocktails” was great because it is so hard to put adhesive on words and not make a mess! The adhesive sheets turn your die cuts into stickers.
Here is another take on this card using coffee as the theme. The card base and designer paper are Really Rust, a retired color. The top die is also retired, but the bottom die is from the new Stylish Shapes Dies. I LOVE the stitched look.
