Quick and Easy Little Red Truck Christmas Card Kit!

Little Red Truck Christmas Card Kit

How cute is this?! Everyone loves a little red truck, and it’s perfect for this adorable Christmas card kit. I also love the sweet dog and presents in the back of the truck.

This kit is all inclusive, and the sentiments are preprinted. No stamping necessary! That makes these cards really quick and easy. Four of the envelopes are printed inside, and the other four are printed on the outside.

Best of all, for only $14, you get to make eight cards. That makes each card cost less than $2.00! Your recipient will love receiving your handmade card.

Make a Sweet & Festive Cookie Jar Card

Oh my goodness! I just love this adorable jar full of gingerbread cookies.

I used the Forever Plaid embossing folder and DSP from the new Traditions of Christmas Suite that will be available to everyone in September. The main colors are Old Olive and Real Red. I think the red and white twine and peppermint embellishments go so well with this card.

The jar of cookies is from the Jar of Joy stamp set. It is stamped in black, Pecan Pie, and Real Red. The coordinating jar punch is available separately OR as a bundle with the Sweet Jar stamp set.

The Sweet Jar bundle is great for Valentine’s Day, birthdays, St. Patrick’s Day, and general friendship cards. I plan to put these two sets to good use!

Make a Beautiful Stars At Night Card

It is ALMOST September 6, which means you will be able to order the amazing and beautiful products from the September-December 2023 Mini Catalog from Stampin’ Up! One of the bundles is called Stars At Night. With it, you can make a variety of stars, including this layered beauty!

The card base is Night of Navy, with a layer of gold foil and a layer of Shining Brightly DSP. The star is five layers, using gold glimmer paper and Night of Navy ombre specialty paper that I had in my retired stash. (You don’t EVEN want to know how much DSP and specialty paper I have. Let’s just say I had to buy a couple racks to house them all…well…most of them!) The bundle has dies for all the star layers, as well as the sentiment. I used The gold & vanilla satin-edged ribbon from the current annual catalog, page 144.

Candy Cane Christmas Cards Using the Stamparatus

I love Christmas, and I love making Christmas cards! My husband asked me, “Does it feel weird making Christmas cards in July?” I didn’t miss a beat. “Nope! It’s always a good time to make Christmas cards!” I’ve already made cards using the Lights Aglow Suite, so this time, I decided to play with the Sweetest Christmas Suite.

For this card, I die cut the candy canes from the Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP), then used three other patterns in the DSP on the card–seems like that is a LOT of different patterns, but they work so well together.

I also used the Scalloped Contour Dies and ribbon from the Red & Garden Green 3/8″ Ribbon Combo Pack.

The sentiment requires two stamps, so it is perfect for the Stampin’ Up! Stamparatus. This precision placement tool makes card making quick and easy when you have multiple items to stamp and the placements have to be in the correct place. Using the Christmas Banners stamp set, I put the banner on one of the Stamparatus plates, and the ‘Tis the Season sentiment stamp on the other plate. Then you just have to ink them up, swing the plate onto the paper, and apply gentle pressure.

Pro tip! Put the stamp set box underneath the plate. It’s the perfect height to give you a level surface to ink up the stamp.

All that is left is to die cut the sentiment and place it on the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the Stamparatus is fun, efficient, and quick. It is worth its weight in gold if you are making multiple cards of the same design.
