Quick Card Using STAMPS, INK, and PAPER (SIP!)

I made this card using the Artistic Leaves stamp set.

I made the card base using Crushed Curry cardstock. I used Cherry Cobbler to mat the white cardstock stamped with the leaves. The leaves were stamped in Crushed Curry and Cherry Cobbler as well. The sentiment was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink. I LOVE the stamp that makes the little dots. I think they add such a nice touch!

The card is great as is, but I always like to add an embellishment! I used the opal rounds assortment, which contains the transparent yellow dots.

For the inside, I stamped a leaf going off the page. I stamped off so it would be lighter in color.

This was a quick card to make, and I think it is just so beautiful for fall!

Measurements:

  • Crushed Curry Cardstock – 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 inches, score at 4-1/4 to make an A2 sized card base
  • Cherry Cobbler Cardstock – 5-5/16 x 4-1/16 inches
  • Basic White – 5-1/8 x 3-7/8 inches

Create a Scenic Pumpkin Patch Card

I love stamp sets that allow for endless creativity to create pretty scenes. You can make a beautiful fall scene on a full card front, or, as I did here, a small scene on a banner.

Online Exclusive Scenic Pumpkin Patch Stamp Set

To stamp the fence behind the pumpkins and the dirt below them, I used the masking technique. I demonstrate it here in a video.

It’s Time For Changing Leaves!

Okay, so early August is a bit early for leaves to show off their fall colors, but we can make it happen with stamps, ink, and paper! Plus an amazing hybrid embossing folder. Check out the embossing on these cards.

The Changing Leaves Bundle is currently (August 2024) available online.
The Changing Leaves Bundle is currently (August 2024) available online.

The background for both cards was made using Basic Beige cardstock in the embossing folder without the die placed inside. The Cajun Craze embossed leaf on the first card is made in the embossing folder WITH the die placed inside. For the first card, I used ink and blending brushes to apply the color. For the second card, I used a splattering technique with water painters and ink. I just LOVE the colors of fall!!
