Sweet Sentimental Christmas Card

I almost didn’t buy this suite, but I just love how the DSP reminds me of wrapping paper from my childhood. I am so glad I got it! I love how these beautiful cards remind me of Christmases past.

September-December Mini Catalog

This is a fun fold with a card base cut at 7-1/4″ x 5-1/2″, then scored at 3″. The white panel is the smallest rectangle in the Radiating Stitches dies. The Christmas tree DSP is 5-1/4″ x 2-3/4″, and the red stripes DSP goes on the INSIDE white layer and is 5-1/4″ x 1-1/2″. The sentiment is stamped on a circle from Stylish Shapes dies. The stocking is stamped with Memento black and colored with Stampin’ Blends and Markers. Garden Green Blooming Pearls provide the right amount of bling. So pretty!

Fun Sophisticated Sled Card

When I saw this bundle, I knew I had to have it. I live in Florida, but I still think sleds and ice skates are so festive and fun. My hubby and I love to take cold vacations (most recently to Iceland in March–brrrrr!), so these stamps and dies would be great embellishments for scrapbook pages (if I ever get around to making them!). But I digress…

This card utilizes only the sentiment stamp–everything else is created with the dies only.

Online Exclusive – Sophisticated Sled Bundle

The Iconic Celebrations DSP sets the basic colors of Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green, which are picked up by the spray of greenery and the glossy dots. I love how the oxidized copper specialty paper gives the sled runners a vintage feel. And of course, you HAVE to use silver foil for the ice skate blades. The So Swirly embossing folder creates a snowy look as well.

This card could be used for any winter occasion–even a birthday!
