Quick Card Using STAMPS, INK, and PAPER (SIP!)

I made this card using the Artistic Leaves stamp set.

I made the card base using Crushed Curry cardstock. I used Cherry Cobbler to mat the white cardstock stamped with the leaves. The leaves were stamped in Crushed Curry and Cherry Cobbler as well. The sentiment was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink. I LOVE the stamp that makes the little dots. I think they add such a nice touch!

The card is great as is, but I always like to add an embellishment! I used the opal rounds assortment, which contains the transparent yellow dots.

For the inside, I stamped a leaf going off the page. I stamped off so it would be lighter in color.

This was a quick card to make, and I think it is just so beautiful for fall!

Measurements:

  • Crushed Curry Cardstock – 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 inches, score at 4-1/4 to make an A2 sized card base
  • Cherry Cobbler Cardstock – 5-5/16 x 4-1/16 inches
  • Basic White – 5-1/8 x 3-7/8 inches

Paper Pumpkin Sweet Strawberry Cards

I finally sat down and put together these sweet strawberry cards in the July 2025 Paper Pumpkin kit.

Even for the experienced crafter, these are just so much fun to put together! Just grab the box and an acrylic block (you get one in your first Paper Pumpkin kit) and you are ready to make cards!

My favorite is the one with the strawberry box!

This Stunning Paper Is PERFECT For Gorgeous Fall Crafts

I have been playing with the Gather Together Suite that I received in my demonstrator preorder. (This is one of my FAVORITE perks of being a demonstrator!) On this card, the embossing folder, shiny dots, twine, sentiment, and DSP are all from the suite. The DSP is definitely the star of the show! The picture does not do it justice. The colors are Crushed Curry, Old Olive, and Cajun Craze, and the are accented with gold foil. Exquisite!

The other papers are also incredibly beautiful, but I must admit, my favorite is the one I used in the card above. The only drawback to this DSP is that it is double-sided, so you have to choose which side to use! Here are my other favorites.

Important Info About Upcoming Changes

Stampin’ Up! is in the process of making changes regarding Stampin’ Write markers, cling stamps and stamp packaging. Stampin’ Write markers are being discontinued. Their sales have decreased because many people are using the Stampin’ Blends. The red rubber cling stamps are also being discontinued. Beginning with the November 2025 Online Exclusives, all stamps will be the clear photopolymer type. Lastly, because all stamps will be clear, there is no need to have the thick cases. All stamps will come in plastic sleeves like the ones the dies come in now. (I’m loving this one–more room on my shelves means I can buy more stamps! LOL!!)

Here’s a video that explains the changes in more detail.

These Tractor Cards Are PERFECT For Fall!

How cute is this bundle?!?! It was so much fun to make these cards.

This card features a tractor, trailer, and tires that are stamped and then die cut. I used Blueberry Bushel, Pecan Pie, and Memento Black to stamp them. While the card below has those made out of die cuts. I used the same colors of card stock as the ink to do the die cuts.

Sometimes, it is hard to get a thorough stamp in one pass with stamps as large as the tractor and trailer. I often use a stamp positioner so I can ink the stamp again and do another press. But I did NOT have to do that with these! Everything on these cards was stamped ONE time. Great performance from these stamps!

I stamped the corn in Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight. The pumpkins were stamped in (of course!) Pumpkin Pie. On the first card, I used Crushed Curry to stamp the hay and Real Red for the chickens.

The backgrounds of both cards were done with small blending brushes, using Balmy Blue for the sky and Granny Apple Green for the ground. I made my own stencil to create the cloud look at the top. You can see how I did it in this video!
