Lights Aglow Christmas Cards from the New Mini Catalog

I had to start my Christmas card making with the absolutely gorgeous Lights Aglow Suite (page 30-31 in the 2022 July-December Mini Catalog that JUST came out…see catalog HERE). The Suite includes not one, but TWO stamp sets and coordinating die sets. This card uses the Brightest Glow stamp set and Labels Aglow dies (available as a bundle).

I started with an Evening Evergreen card base, then a bottom layer of Lights Aglow Designer Series Paper (DSP). Above that is a layer of Cherry Cobbler cardstock that is elevated using Stampin’ Dimensionals foam adhesive dots. On this is a layer of the Lights Aglow DSP. The sentiment is stamped with Versa Mark ink, then embossed with white embossing powder. This is die cut and mounted on a yello piece of Festive Foils DSP, also included in the Suite. This is die cut as well. Below this is Simply Elegant gold trim, available on page 145 of the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. To add a bit more bling, there are three Festive Pearls in Cherry Cobbler.

Inside of the card

There are SO MANY wonderful sentiments in this stamp set. I love the different fonts and sizes, and it is so versatile.

The die set includes three dies to use with the sentiments, and the rest cut patterned holes out of the paper. Such a cool effect! The long, rectangular die was used on the yellow foil DSP on the card. The large circle was used with the next card to cut the holes in the green layer under the snowflake.

This card also uses an Evening Evergreen card base and a layer of Lights Aglow DSP. The green layer is Soft Succulent DSP from the Festive Foils pack. The snowflake is die cut from the Glimmer Specialty Paper that is also included in the Suite, and the die is in the Twinkling Light dies that coordinates with the Christmas Lights stamp set. The sentiment is stamped in Evening Evergreen on vanilla cardstock, then die cut and matted on Evening Evergreen cardstock. It is attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals foam dots.

My cat, Chamonix (pronounced SHAH-MOH-NEE), decided to pose with my card (and soak up the heat from my light).

Which brings us to the last card, also shown with Chamonix!

Once again, I started with an Evening Evergreen card base topped with the vanilla with gold stars layer of Lights Aglow DSP. The tree stamped with Versa Mark ink, then heat embossed with gold embossing powder. Then, it was die cut and glued to the vanilla layer. The red DSP layer was die cut using one of the diorama dies, then glued on. The sentiment is from the Brightest Glow stamp set and die cut with the circle Labels Aglow die. The beautiful gold and vanilla satin-edged ribbon is also from the Suite. So pretty!!

Here are the gorgeous papers included with the Lights Aglow Suite, also available for purchase separately. This can be found on page 31 of the 2022 July-December Mini Catalog, which you can see HERE.
